Identity Tree
The smallest things in life make up who we are...
This tree was drawn after some very intense thought of what my identity project world be. The main idea is that the smallest details in life make up who we are; the unique prints in our fingers, the tiny characteristics that nobody else has. I did this project on sheet of wood in hopes that the wood grain would underlay everything because just like people, wood also has unique patterns. Mostly, I just wanted to draw a finger with the detailed prints but i was told I needed to no more. The tree has no actual symbolic meaning, neither does the moon, leaves or colors. I do believe however i could come up with a very believable story about how this is all part of one long story. When people look at it I think they will see a deeper meaning in this piece, but the secret is... There's not.
